Love Plus Flour Chag Menu

It’s hard to believe it, talking about the chagim here at the beginning of August, but that’s what the calendar tells me. And to be honest, I can’t wait another minute, because there’s so much to share!

First, you need to remember this coupon code: Chag2021 (original, right?). That will get you 10% off any order from now until August 21st. Yes, any order, whether you made it by calling, emailing, texting, putting on order on my regular shop page here, or on the special Chagim ordering page here.

Speaking of earlybird, there’s another earlybird deal – on my special, only-available-during-the-chagim cakes. I have to tell you, these cakes are special. The first is a chocolate drip featuring bee-themed chocolates for Rosh Hashana. The second cake features autumn colors and leaf-themed chocolates for Sukkot. What’s under those gorgeous decorations? You decide! You can choose from chocolate, vanilla, or red velvet. And they’re not exactly small. A 6” cake serves 10-12 people, while the 8” serves 15-20. Take a look:

Along with cakes, I have cupcake packs. 3 chocolate, 3 vanilla, topped with matching (pareve) buttercream frosting and bee-themed or autumn-themed chocolates.

During earlybird ordering, a 6” cake is $35 and an 8” cake is $50 and the cupcake pack is $16.50. But make sure you get your order in fast, because on August 21st that goes up to $45 and $65 and $20 respectively.

While I promise you they will be the talk of your table, my holiday menu offers you even more items to choose from, including 4 types of kugels: cranberry apple, butternut squash, apple, and broccoli. Then for Rosh Hashana you can add in honey cake and caramel apple babka loaf. On Sukkot, I’m including french bread bowls and pumpkin loaf.

All of that is in addition to the cake buckets, pastry trays, cookie trays, and standard cakes you find on my menu every week.

As always, I’m offering my delicious challot (round for the chagim) in all the regular flavors (egg, water, and whole wheat). For challah toppings, you can mix in salt, sesame, poppy, garlic, onion, everything, or cinnamon sugar along with the traditional holiday option of raisins.

With all of those options, you may want to order for more than one night, so I’m giving you a range of choices for pickup dates:

Rosh Hashana orders are available for pickup Thu 9/2 and Sun 9/5.
Sukkot orders will be available Sun 9/19, Thu 9/23, or Sun 9/26

To make things easier, I’m still offering free delivery (to specific areas) on the same days as the pickups listed above.

I know that’s a lot. But the chagim deserve a lot of special attention. It’s my hope that you’ll let me help you make your holiday table just a little more special (and tastey), and take some weight off your shoulders at the same time.

I am still offering delivery or porch pick up options. Those procedures are:

  • All orders must be pre-paid.
  • I’m offering free delivery for customers who live in the area between South Belvoir and Richmond, and Cedar and Fairmount.
  • If you would still prefer to pick up your order, text me on your way or call me from your car when you arrive and I’ll set your order on my porch. Once I’m inside you can come and get it.

These precautions are intended to keep everyone healthy – both my customers and my family.
