Elul is upon us and that means Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot are coming in just a few short weeks! There will be two Rosh Hashanah pick up and delivery days: Thursday 9/22 at my regular Shabbat pick up and delivery times for anyone planning to go out of town before Shabbat; and Erev Rosh Hashanah Sunday 9/25 from 10am-12pm. (Sunday deliveries through all the Chaggim will be 10am-12pm) Or you can pick up on Sunday from 12pm-2pm.

On Sukkot I’m offering 4 different pick up and delivery options:

  • Thursday 10/6
  • Sunday 10/9
  • Thursday 10/13
  • Sunday 10/16

Remember to use the early bird discount code: NEWYEAR5783,  at checkout for 10% off your entire order. But don’t wait! The code stops working at midnight on 9/10.

Now on to the exciting information – what I’m making this year! I’ll have four different kugels (apple, cranberry apple, broccoli) and butternut squash. Those will be available for both Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot. I’ll also have special themed cakes and cupcakes. Rosh Hashanah will have a a white and gold theme; and Sukkot features a cake with gorgeous fall color scheme. The cakes are either 6 inch or 8 inch round, and you get your choice of delicious flavors: chocolate, vanilla, or red velvet.

For Rosh Hashanah I’m also making honey cake and caramel apple babka. On Sukkot I’ll be making french bread bowls!

As always my standard desserts of cakes, cookie and pastry trays, and cake buckets as well as egg, water and whole wheat challah in an assortment of flavors and sizes are available.

I am still offering delivery or porch pick up options. Those procedures are:

  • All orders must be pre-paid.
  • I’m offering free delivery for customers who live in the area between South Belvoir and Richmond, and Cedar and Fairmount.
  • If you would still prefer to pick up your order, text me on your way or call me from your car when you arrive and I’ll set your order on my porch. Once I’m inside you can come and get it.

These precautions are intended to keep everyone healthy – both my customers and my family.
